Terms & Conditions
By participating in Little Learners Co-op activities, families agree to the following terms and expectations:
Enrolment & Payments
Co-op enrolment is for the full 4-week cycle and is not offered as a casual or drop-in service.
All cycle fees must be paid upfront prior to commencement.
Fees are non-refundable, including for missed sessions or incursions, illness, change of mind, holidays or withdrawal from the cycle.
Discounts, credits or make-up sessions are not provided for families unable to attend the full cycle after payment has been made.
Fees may be adjusted in future cycles in response to changes in venue hire, material costs, incursions, and overall operating costs of the co-op.
Parent Supervision & Responsibility
Parents/carers are required to remain onsite and are solely responsible for the supervision, safety, wellbeing and behaviour of their own children at all times.
Little Learners Co-op is a collaborative, family-led community and not a childcare, drop-off or educational service.
While activities may be facilitated by participating families, each parent/carer remains fully responsible for their child’s participation and safety.
Organisers are not responsible for managing individual children’s behaviour, ensuring participation in activities, providing one-on-one support, or meeting specific educational outcomes.
Community Expectations
As part of the collaborative nature of the co-op, participating families are expected to contribute to the cycle by planning and facilitating at least one activity during their allocated roster week. Activities will be discussed with the admin team to help ensure a balanced variety of learning experiences across the cycle.
Support, guidance and access to shared co-op resources will be provided where available. Families are responsible for supplying any additional materials required for their allocated activity.
Families are expected to contribute positively to the co-op environment and participate respectfully within the community.
Ongoing unmanaged disruptive, unsafe or aggressive behaviour may result in removal from the co-op at the discretion of organisers. In these situations, refunds will not be provided.
Families are expected to assist with shared setup, pack down and general care of resources and spaces where required.
Venue & Property Care
Families agree to help care for the hired venue and shared resources.
The hall and surrounding areas must be left clean, tidy and in the condition they were found.
Any intentional or negligent damage caused by a participating family may result in that family being responsible for associated repair or replacement costs.
Incursions & Activities
Incursions, themes, activities and schedules may occasionally change due to availability, weather, illness or unforeseen circumstances.
Organisers reserve the right to modify activities, facilitators, venues or cycle content where necessary.
Liability
Participation in Little Learners Co-op activities is at each family’s own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Learners Co-op organisers accept no liability for injury, illness, loss, damage or accidents occurring during participation in co-op activities, excursions, incursions or use of venues and equipment.
Photography & Media
Families may occasionally take photos/videos during co-op activities for personal or promotional use.
Photos or videos shared publicly, including on social media or other public platforms, must not show identifiable features or clear images of other children attending the co-op.
Sharing photos featuring hands, activities or children photographed from behind is welcome, however photos or videos clearly showing another child’s face must not be shared publicly.

By joining or participating in Little Learners Co-op activities, families acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
